Guidelines for Finding Work at Home Jobs Part 2

Guidelines for Finding Work at Home Jobs - Part 2

How many of these different programs do you think are out there? 1,000's would be a good guess. So do a little investigation. Find something that you are definitely interested in. Something that you can be passionate about, that reflects what you believe, and who you are. One tip I can give you is if you would be embarrassed to tell family or friends about it don't do it! If you can't get them to join you how in the world will you get anyone else to? Nothing in life that we have to keep hidden from those who love us ever proves to be of any value.

Once you find something that you are interested in check out the company. Do they offer a guarantee? Do they have a valid e-mail address that you can use to contact a real person? Do they hide their information (address, phone, etc?). Are you falling for the sales page or do you believe it's legitimate? Don't forget sales pages are just that they are there to SELL! It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you it just means that whoever put it together did their job. If after all this you are comfortable then GO FOR IT!!

Remember FOCUS. You've made a choice now follow through. Stick with it. Don't start one thing today and find something else tomorrow and start on that. You must FOCUS on the product or service you chose and spend your time marketing and or selling it and only it! Trying to manage more than one work at home opportunity is NOT multi-tasking it is setting yourself up for a huge let down. You will not have the time to successfully market and sell more than one thing in the beginning.

So remember FOCUS on finding and researching the job or opportunity that fits you. FOCUS on one at a time you can not multi-task 2 or 3 programs at a time.

Part 3 will give you more guidelines for finding work at home jobs. You may also want to check out the Affiliate Programs blogg to help you understand what they are. If you haven't read 'Guidelines for Finding Work at Home Jobs Part 1' you may want to do that now.

Guidlelines for Finding Work at Home Jobs

Guidelines for Finding Work at Home Jobs Part 1

Most of us have tried to find a job we can do from home at one time or another. We've seen the infomercials and wondered if they work. With the advantages of the Internet there are an abundance of websites with opportunities to work at home. Most of these so called opportunities are not opportunities at all. They make outrageous claims of minimal work and high payouts. Of course we usually ignore them or pass them off as the schemes that they are but, somewhere in our thoughts we wonder, hope, and even daydream that they could work for us. So are they all schemes, scams, or just downright ripoffs? Someone is definitely making money from them or they wouldn't be spending the money, time, or effort that it takes to establish these websites , promote them, and manage them. And can you imagine the cost of an infomercial? How about the average everyday person? If you or I spend just $19.95, $47, $24.95, etc. will magic happen for us? Maybe, maybe not. If you are going to try you need to make some decisions and take some actions right from the start.

First you need to understand, in the beginning and the middle and even in the end of this process you will have one main objective that must remain the same. That one main objective is FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!

FOCUS- on what your realistic goals are not the fantasy of a compensation plan.
FOCUS- on finding a product or service that fits you.
FOCUS- on what the product or service is NOT the sales page.

If you fail to FOCUS you will be-

Bought by every sales page you come across, you will be overwhelmed trying to do to many programs or opportunities at once, you will be out of money by tomorrow, and you will be sorely disappointed in your results.

Are Affiliate Programs For Real?

Are Affiliate Programs For Real?

Most of us have heard of an affiliate program or two. If you haven't I'll explain. An affiliate program is initiated by a company who wishes to use individuals or groups to promote their products. They (the company) will offer the opportunity of signing up (usually for free) to promote the company or product. In exchange the affiliate will promote for the company and earn commissions on sales from these promotions. The company will assign an affiliate identification number that is added to promotions to track customers and pay the affiliate. All cost for promotion is paid for by the affiliate not the company.

So what's the big deal? Most of us have only been acquainted with affiliate programs through online money making opportunities, or Multi-level marketing-MLM (think Amway) and have been left with a bad taste for the term affiliate. What we may not realize is that many well known companies offer affiliate programs.
Maybe you've heard of some of these-
American Express, Target, Pet s Mart, American Eagle, Borders, Linens N Things, and GAP

If you have, you may be surprised to know that they all offer affiliate programs. Each one of them will let you sign up as an affiliate and pay you either a percentage or a set dollar amount for each customer that buys from their company using your affiliate identificatins number.

Affiliate programs are not just Get-Rich-Quick-Schemes they are utilized by companies that you and I use every single day. There is a cost to setting up an affiliate program such as tracking the program, advertising, staff to oversee the program, etc. So if major companies like these are spending the money to make affiliate programs available maybe these programs do work.

If you have had bad experiences with affiliate programs before rest assured not all are like that. There are some great places on the Internet that group these affiliate programs together so that you can make the most of them.

If you would like more information visit the following link. Click on the mall tab, and then the click here to visit my power mall. You just might be surprised at some of the stores that have affiliate programs.

Are Non-Profits Suffering During Economy trouble?

Most of us are familiar with a non-profit organization or two. And most of us help support at least one I hope. After all if we are an active member of the community we know that our churches, missions, orphanages, shelters, and others need our help. So what happens to these much needed organizations when our pocket books and pantries are short.

Do we cut them off completely or cut back? And if our giving is being downsized what will happen to them? Who will provide for our missionaries that are already sacrificing to bring the messages of hope and love to those people who need it? What will happen to our churches when our pastors and other church leaders must take other employment to feed their own families? Who will feed our orphans, our battered women, and our homeless?

Gives us much to think about doesn't it? For most people their contribution to an organization such as those is an afterthought. After the bills are all paid, after our groceries are bought, after our weekly dining out, after our name brand whatever it is we buy, after the braces, after the mountains of Christmas gifts, after, after, after.

We must change our giving if we are going to change our world. So maybe you really can't give as much or any but, could we do something? Could we volunteer to serve wherever they need us? Could we spend extra time in prayer? Could we spend some time with the organization staff and patrons?

When we shift our focus to caring and assisting others we can truly make a difference. So today, this month, this time in our history let's not focus on ourselves but, on those around us for people are what truly matter!

P.S. - this is the website I use to help make a difference
They sponsor a child and pay 6% of corporate profit

They also pay part of world changer websites fees to a non-profit
